SHOWRISK is the entertainment risk management division of Nexus Insurance Brokers Ltd. Building on more than three decades of insurance experience, we specialise in the unique insurance needs of film and television productions, events and the wider entertainment industry.
Our story began in 1992.
Nexus started out as an independent, family-owned insurance brokerage, working with clients across a wide range of industries. Over the decades, we gained extensive experience in understanding risks, anticipating the unexpected and turning insurance into something more meaningful than just a policy.
Then came a new chapter.
With a new generation joining the business, our focus gradually shifted towards the world of entertainment — a world where every production is unique, every event is different, and where risks can be as unpredictable as the show itself.
That is where we found our stage.
Today, SHOWRISK works primarily with film production companies, event organisers and professionals across the entertainment industry.
Whether it is a feature film taking months to produce, a concert tour, a festival, a corporate event, a sporting event or a one-off production, our goal remains the same:
to think ahead where others may only see a problem once it happens.
